The best beauty looks from the 2018 Cannes Film Festival

Here's what's caught our eye...
Forget the gowns, we're taking a look at some of our favourite beauty looks from the Cannes Film Festival so far...

After countless pre-show red carpet events and movie screenings (one received a six-minute standing ovation), as well as a nod to the Time’s Up movement and the star-studded Fashion For Relief Gala, the Cannes Film Festival is about to come to an end this weekend. Its 71st edition has brought models, Hollywood heavyweights and international A-listers together, giving us no shortage of fashion and beauty looks to admire.

Take a look at the top six beauty looks that caught our eye this week…

1. Kendall Jenner

One of the it models of the moment, Kendall Jenner graced the red carpet in a stunning Schiaparelli gown, just before the screening of Girls of the Sun. Her hair was done by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin (a simple middle-parted loose bun) and her flawless face (bronzed glow, a nude lip and slightly winged liner) was the work of Mary Phillips.

2. Camila Coelho

Camila Coelho (who was recently in Dubai for Beauty Pop DXB) made her Cannes debut this year in a gorgeous Ralph & Russo Haute Couture Dress. Along with jewellery creations by Messika, Coelho’s whole look was glam-rock with a mauve lip, bold brows and eye makeup complete with metallic and black eyeshadow, black liner and mascara.

3. Sara Sampaio

Sara Sampaio‘s sartorial choices are always on point and during the Cannes Film Festival, there was one particular beauty look of hers that caught our eye. Complementing her light pink lip shade, Sampaio’s eyes glistened thanks to a touch of gold eyeshadow and a thin swipe of liner. Her cheeks were defined with a sweep of bronzer and highlighter and her hair was neatly pulled back into a bun, giving us seriously beautiful ballerina vibes.

4. Winnie Harlow

As she dazzled the crowd at Cannes with her custom metallic gown by Lebanese designer Jean Louis Sabaji (who also dressed Beyoncé at the 2nd Wearable Art Gala), Winnie Harlow‘s beauty look was the perfect accessory. Voluminous long waves, bold and defined cat eyes and a dark red lip added a touch of drama to the whole look.

5. Irina Shayk

Russian model Irina Shayk walked the red carpet on several occasions during the Cannes Film Festival, but this beauty look in particular was one our favourites. Her strong features were defined with a glowy contour and she added a pop of colour to her nearly-nude makeup look with a bold red lip. Plus, we’ve always got time for a messy bun.

6. Jessica Kahawaty

Jessica Kahawaty stunned in another gown by Lebanese fashion brand Azzi & Osta. Her locks were neatly pulled back into a bun, allowing her grogeous beauty look to be the focus. Soft highlight on the cheeks and T-bone areas accentuated her striking features, whilst her blue eyes were complemented by neutral shades and lashings of mascara.
