Describing its main gallery in Dubai Design District as “a platform for up and coming designers to exhibit their works and their pieces and designs side by side with established brands” during an exclusive interview with Buro. Middle East, Nakkash is introducing an exciting new exhibition that will highlight regional design talents next month.
In line with Dubai Design Week, the exhibition, titled Design Collective, will provide a platform for emerging artists from the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon, and will exclusively showcase their cool design pieces.
Speaking ahead of the exhibition, the Founder of Nakkash, Wajih Nakkash, said: “We are very excited to be launching Design Collective. It is our role as an established design organisation to continue to support the industry and provide a much-needed platform for our talented emerging designers.”
Curated by Wajih, Aya & Omar Nakkash (the family trio behind the business), Design Collection will feature artists Ahmad Bazazo, Ayah Al Bitar, Eva Szumilas, Nader Gammas, Sahar Bizri and Tarek Elkassouf, and will run from November 7-17, 2018.
