Stella McCartney to be honoured by the David Lynch Foundation

And it will take place at the Women of Vision luncheon next month...
Stella McCartney will soon be adding another accolade to her portfolio. Here's what we know so far...

Just a few months ago, Stella McCartney was honoured for her continuous efforts in promoting sustainability and animal rights at the 2017 Fashion Awards in December and now, the British designer is being honoured once again.

This time, Stella McCartney (who recently bought her business back from Kering) will be honoured at the second annual David Lynch Foundation Women of Vision luncheon next month for her contributions to the fashion industry and her effortless support of women.

The Foundation brings comfort to people including the homeless,  veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, inner-city students, incarcerated adults and juveniles, whilst the Women of Vision luncheon focuses on women and children who are survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

At the annual luncheon, David Lynch has teamed up with jeweller Alex and Ani to create a “meditating eye” collection and will be sold during the foundation with 20% percent of the proceeds directly funding an initiative to teach and encourage 1,000 women who are survivors of domestic violence to meditate.

The Women of Vision luncheon will take place on May 8, 2018.

Now, take a look at Justin Timberlake’s tour wardrobe, which was completely designed by Stella McCartney.
