Earlier this week, Chanel showcased their Cruise 2020 collection at the Grand Palais (where it also marked Virginie Viard’s solo debut as Artistic Director), and Prada took the fash pack to New York to present its Resort 2020 collection. However, Prada isn’t the only fashion house to showcase its trans-seasonal collection in the Big Apple.
In February, we found out that Nicolas Ghesquière will be showcasing Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2020 collection in New York this month and now, the day has finally come.
Tonight at 7pm EST (which is 3am local time), models will hit the runway (literally) at the TWA Flight Center at New York’s JFK Airport. It’s long been known that the Creative Director has had a thing for interesting architecture – given his choice of locations in previous seasons.
Whilst little is known about what we can expect for the new season from Ghesquière, there’s not long left until we find out what the brand has in store.
