Le66 Beirut exclusively teams up with The Nou Project

Here's what you need to know about the cool collaboration
Following on from a successful debut at Untitled Miami, The Nou Project is coming to Beirut. Buro 24/7 Middle East has the details...

Run by Saudi/Lebanese creative duo Nour Al Tamimi and Basma Chidiac, The Nou Project is one of the Middle East’s most exciting new businesses.

The pair joined forces to create a brand that would “broaden the sphere of art consumption” as well as act as a platform where emerging artists (both local and international) could find support and a base from which to gain recognition.

Late last year, the pair launched their first exclusive sneaker collection at Untitled Miami — they were the first brand to sell sneakers at the fair — after having teamed up with three US and Canadian talents.

At the time, the pair spoke to Buro 24/7 Middle East and said, “The Middle Eastern creative pool is growing rapidly and it is incredibly important to showcase the emerging talent from the market to international communities.”

And now, they’re setting their sights a little closer to home with the launch of a brand new sneaker collection that will be stocked exclusively in Le66 Beirut. This time around, the pair worked with Mexican artist Nydia Lilian, British artist James Rawson and Saudi Arabian artist Rex Chouk to bring three new sneaker designs to consumers that are representative of their individual fields of interest: street art, digital image manipulation and pop art.

In addition to the exclusive designs, the pair is also releasing its signature minimalist styles in high-top and low-top silhouettes in black, nude and white colourways.
