Famed Chinese restaurant Hakkasan closed its doors in Jumeirah Emirates Towers earlier this month, much to the dismay of the region’s foodies. However, the restaurant promised that it would be back soon — and its new location has just been unveiled.
Hakkasan will reopen its doors in September of this year at Atlantis The Palm, it announced in a release today. Furthermore, the restaurant will then move to The Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences when it opens at the end of next year.
According to the release, the modern, fine-dining Chinese restaurant will serve up its signature menu, as well as “a selection of innovative dishes, unique to Hakkasan at Atlantis.”
Hakkasan will now join the likes of Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen, Ronda Locatelli and NOBU in the famed destination. Plus, it will be in equally good company upon joining The Royal Atlantis with Heston Blumenthal and José Andrés both confirmed to be opening restaurants in the complex, too.
