The world’s leading airlines have long teamed up with luxury labels to ensure that customers flying in business and first class have an extra-luxurious experience on board. Cathay Pacific offers its customers Trussardi amenity kits, Emirates has partnered with Bvlgari for its amenity offerings and British Airways offers flyers a case designed by Anya Hindmarch. Now, Etihad Airways has updated its amenity kit by teaming up with Italian fragrance brand Aqua Di Parma.
The new partnership will begin in August and will see flyers in business, first and The Residence on long-haul flights receive bags in either yellow or black. Inside the kits, you’ll find a selection of exclusive fragrances, hand cream, bath and shower gel, soap, body lotion and lip balm depending on your cabin tier. Additionally, for customers travelling in The Residence, they will be presented with “a bespoke range of fragrances and toiletries in their own private shower room, including a Colonia amenity kit [with] Colonia Pura provided for men and Magnolia Nobile for women.”
Speaking of the collaboration (which is an extension of the brands’ existing partnership since 2014 when Acqua Di Parma provided the toiletries for The Residence), Laura Burdese, the CEO and President of the brand said, “After 102 years, Acqua Di Parma has become an icon of Italian style, the essence of sophistication and effortless elegance Italy is known for around the world. We are extremely selective when choosing brands to associate with but partnering with a world-leading airline like Etihad was a natural choice due to its premium services and high-end in-flight experience.”
Earlier this year, Etihad unveiled its first range of in-flight pyjamas designed in collaboration with Emirati brand A Friend Of Mine.
