An annual celebration of all things fitness and wellness, the Dubai Fitness Challenge is back to motivate us all to seek healthy, active lifestyles for the next 30 days.
Courtesy of Sheikh Hamdan’s 30×30 challenge, the majority of Dubai has shifted to a fitness-focussed mindset and the Apple Watch is the perfect tool to keep your eye on the prize.
The multinational technology company recently announced a new line-up of launches including the Apple Watches Series 6, and it comes packed with features that will help you track a wide variety of workouts, as well as apps that will help you better understand your overall fitness and wellness.
During the next 30 days, whether you’re outdoor running (the weather is beautiful!), doing laps in the pool, finding your zen through yoga or letting it all out with your HIIT training, the Apple Watch Workout App will let you track your progress; end, pause or lock your workout; get reminders to workout; breakdown your total calorie burn and you’ll be able to check your workout history to push yourselves even further.
Whilst the Apple Watch could give you insights into your heart rate, the latest edition pushes the boundaries even further with new technology that will measure the oxygen saturation of your blood, so they can better understand their overall fitness and wellness. Through the Blood Oxygen and App, it will be able to tell the percentage of oxygen being carried by red blood cells from the lungs to the rest of the body, and indicates how well this oxygenated blood is being delivered throughout the body.
With the new launch of the iOS 14 and watchOS 7, the ECG app gives you deeper insights into your heart rate as it enables customers to take an electrocardiogram right from their wrist, capturing heart rhythm in a moment when they experience symptoms like a rapid or skipped heart beat and helping to provide critical data to physicians.
For us, the Apple Watch Series 6 has become our new best friend for the new 30 days.
