The highly anticipated Gucci Garden officially opened its doors last night in Florence. The brand’s newest concept store is part of the Gucci Museo and features several levels of collections — both past and present — as well as video installations and art pieces. Reimagining the traditional museum concept, the space aims to engage and inspire visitors through its various installations. There’s also a dedicated retail space that offers one-of-a-kind pieces designed exclusively for the Garden.
After you get hungry from all the walking and wish list making you can treat yourself to a meal at Gucci Osteria, the brand’s very own restaurant — its first in the world. The 50-seat restaurant is located on the ground floor of the building and is run by Massimo Bottura, the owner of the Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana. For this new venture, Bottura has created an entirely new menu for the all-day dining space filled with Italian classics as well as contemporary updates that are certain to delight. This is about as stylish as pasta comes.
