For over a decade, timepiece connoisseurs and watch houses across the globe have a pretty busy schedule during January with SIHH taking place in Geneva and Baselworld held in Basel, Switzerland. However in 2020, both major houses have chosen to highlight all that is new to the watchmaking industry in April. Therefore, resulting in no Swiss watch fair this month, LVMH have brought its first Swiss Watch Manufactures Exhibition to Dubai — and we couldn’t be more excited.
For the inaugural event, Bvlgari have launched a coveted collection of timepieces that fall under not one, but three, of its pillar collections: Serpenti, Divas’ Dream and Octo.
A celebration of haute horology, brand heritage and beauty, each of the new timepieces are a combination of expertise and Swiss-watchmaking.
Here, we dive deeper to show you what’s new…
Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon
There’s no better way to kick off 2020 than with a stunning new piece of exquisite craftsmanship sitting pretty on your wrist. Bvlgari’s latest edition of the brand’s most iconic watch, the Serpenti, now comes in a unique small-sized women’s tourbillon — marking the smallest women’s tourbillon on the market. Available in rose or white gold and diamond pavé, you’ll be able to choose from a leather strap or a full diamond bracelet. The timepiece comes adorned with the iconic Serpenti-shaped case complete in rhodium, hand-decorated with Côtes de Genève and a transparent backcase.

Divas’ Dream
Expanding on its renowned collection of Divas’ Dream timepieces, Bvlgari have added three new styles we’re currently lusting over. Perhaps one of the brand’s most recognised motifs, the Diva fan-shape, has been reimagined into a new Divas’ Dream timepiece: the Minute Repeater Malachite. The thinnest ladies’ minute-repeater to date, the stunning mechanical movement comes complete with diamond pavé, a green malachite dial, a green alligator strap with 18kt white gold buckle and brilliant-cut diamonds.
Two new exquisite styles of Divas’ Dream also include the Peacock and Lapis Lazuli — the former, a mechanical movement with automatic winding, 18kt white gold case, brilliant-cut diamonds, pink tourmaline, natural peacock feather and blue alligator strap, whilst the latter, a timepiece with a rose gold crown, lapis lazuli dial, Bvlgari-personalised high-precision quartz movement and blue alligator strap.
Octo Finissimo
At the inaugural LVMH Watch Week in Dubai, the Octo saga continues with its latest edition, the Octo Finissimo Automatic in Black Sandblast-Polished Ceramic. A beautiful timepiece that features a signature monochromatic look (with matte and brilliant surfaces), it’s one part of the highlights of Dubai 2020.
Another is the new Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater in rose gold powered by the ultra-thin mechanical manufacture minute repeater movement. Merging edgy Italian design and Swiss engineering, a polished black lacquer dial is spotted on the Octo Finissimo Automatic Satin-Polished Steel and Octo Finissimo Automatic Satin-Polished Rose Gold.
