The best jewellery at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival

It's not just about the fashion...
The 2019 Cannes Film Festival is now on day three, and plenty of celebrities turned up in some dazzling jewellery pieces...

The annual Cannes Film Festival kicked off earlier this week and so far, the 72nd edition sparkled with sartorial choices and jewellery options that bespeak the glamour of the French Riviera-based event. The festival is continuously host to a swarm of well-dressed celebrities and this year was no exception. Whilst their sartorial choices made a clear statement on the red carpet, it was all about the jewellery choices, too…
Jessica Kahawaty, Priyanka Chopra, Raya Abirached

Dressed in a Giambattista Valli Spring 2019 Haute Couture high-low, pouf-sleeve gown, Lebanese model and humanitarian Jessica Kahawaty added a touch of simple jewels by haute jewellery label Flavia Vetorasso for her first Cannes Film Festival red carpet.

Priyanka Chopra strutted the red carpet in an evening gown from the Roberto Cavalli Couture collection, and added a touch of sparkling accessories from Chopard

Lebanese TV presenter and celebrity journalist, Raya Abirached paired her black gown by Dubai-based brand, Marmar Halim, with Piaget jewellery and an IWC Da Vinci Automatic 36 timepiece.
Alessandra Ambrosio, Ola Farahat, Tina Kunakey

We all know that supermodels rule the red carpet and Alessandra Ambrosio did just that at the 72nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The Brazilian model was dressed in a fiery red embellished gown by Julien Macdonald and accessorised it with Boucheron‘s Serpent Bohème earrings and a vintage pompon bracelet from 1946.

A firm favourite jewellery house on the red carpet is de Grisogono and this year, they dressed Dubai-based influencer Ola Farahat in Ventaglio earrings (complete in pink gold set with pink sapphires and amethysts) and paired it with an Allegra ring and a Jane ring.

Tina Kunakey dazzled in Messika at the Cannes Film Festival and the famous French model opted for the brand’s High Jewellery Wild Mood earrings, a Snake Dance bracelet from the Born to be Wild collection and the Toi & Moi High Jewellery ring from Messika’s Private Collection.
Bella Hadid, Carla Bruni, Nieves Álvarez

Shining just as brightly off-screen as on, Bella Hadid took to the red carpet a stunning set from Bvlgari‘s High Jewellery collection.

Carla Bruni beautifully unveiled a stunning pair of earrings from Bvlgari’s new High Jewellery Cinemagia collection and paired them with two High Jewellery Serpenti bracelets (one complete with round brilliant cut diamonds and the other set in platinum with 1 oval-shaped sapphire, emeralds and pavé diamonds). The supermodel then completed her look with a Serpenti Seduttori ring.

Brand ambassador Nieves Álvarez stunned in High Jewellery Serpenti earrings that stole the spotlight on the red carpet. The white gold set with 24 emeralds and pavè diamonds were paired with a High Jewellery ring and a Diva diamonds bracelet.
