Tiffany & Co.'s now-iconic Tiffany T collection is a firm favourite amongst jewellery lovers across the world. Here's what inspired its creation...

During her reign as Design Director at Tiffany & Co., Francesca Amfitheatrof brought a fresh air of elegance (and a health dose of youth) to the brand. Her most exciting design series was undoubtedly the Tiffany T collection which fuses the heritage of the brand with very modern silhouettes. 

Although it was born in New York City, Amfitheatrof dedicated the pieces “to the world’s great cities and the global travellers who gravitate to art and culture — and the edge, where creativity sparks change.” Of her design process, she explained, “While I was designing Tiffany T, I had these global citizens in my mind, interesting, highly creative people who exist in every great world city. The strength of Tiffany T is appealing to these explorers, because this is jewellery that enhances an already vibrant personality rather than simply being decorative.”

Whether worn solo, with stones, or skillfully stacked, the pieces imbue any ensemble with a certain sophisticated nonchalance. Finished in 18-karat white, rose, or yellow gold, there’s a piece (or five) for every taste, whilst diamond accents, though inspired by the brand’s archives, are thoroughly contemporary.

Made to move and for those who move mountains, the Tiffany T collection is an enduring symbol of possibility.
