There’s been a strong line-up of show moments during this London Fashion Week. From Christopher Bailey’s last show for Burberry to Erdem Moralioglu’s debut collaboration with Nars and Josep Font’s first time showcasing Delpozo’s collection in London, there’s been no shortage of news coming out of the British capital this past week.
On the last day, Natasha Zinko, Isa Arfen and Richard Quinn put power dressing on the agenda as they showcased their Fall/Winter ’18 collections. Take a look here…
Natasha Zinko
What you need to know: There was a strong female force at Natasha Zinko’s autumnal collection show this season. Showcasing the perfect ensembles that work for 9-5 and beyond, the designer injected easy-wear, layer-ready separates with sequins, metallics and leathers for added impact.
Key item: The millennial-pink dress (top left) is perfect for the spring season. Pair it with some knee-high boots, gladiator sandals or designer sneakers, and you’ll be good to go.
Isa Arfen
What you need to know: There was a hint of California love echoed through Serafina Sama’s designs for Isa Arfen at last night’s show. With a strong vintage vibe present in every piece, the runway saw an explosion of high-waisted skirts, distressed trenchcoats, faux fur coats, party dresses and narrow track pants. Whilst there was tartan print aplenty, pieces were finished in a bright colour palette of blue, green and red, too.
In case you missed it: The designer debuted the brand’s first denim offering on the runway. There was a selection of straight-leg cuts that came with velvet ribbon belts, knee patches and tartan prints.
Richard Quinn
What you need to know: Every single look Richard Quinn sent down the runway was as exquisite as the next. His vision focused on statement florals, intricate prints and dramatic colours that were juxtaposed against chiffon skirts, oversized bomber jackets and biker-inspired jackets. And given the royal front row, there were plenty of elegant headscarfs showcased too, albeit in eye-catching prints and vibrant colours.
Key moment: Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II made her debut at this year’s event to witness Quinn’s runway show. The Queen also presented the first Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design to the emerging designer, recognising his talent and contribution to the fashion community.
