In recent years, California has been a hit destination for fashion shows. Ralph Lauren, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent presented seasonal collections recently, and even Celine’s Hedi Slimane will be staging its return to the runway with a show in Los Angeles next month.
Now, Versace will be following suit as the luxury Italian brand confirms a destination show for Fall/Winter ’23. Set to take place in March, Versace will show its combined women’s and men’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection in Los Angeles.
“For me, Hollywood is both a place and a state of mind. It is about storytelling and magic, power and vulnerability, creativity, and emotional expression,” says Donatella Versace in a short statement. “It is a perfect location for Versace. I cannot wait to be back.”
The event will be held two days before the Oscars ceremony on March 10, 2023.
