Earlier this year, Puma signed a historic multi-year licensing agreement, acquiring exclusive rights to produce and sell Formula 1 apparel, footwear, and merchandise. Now, the sporting giant has announced a special collaboration with A$AP Rocky, appointing him as the Creative Director for its Formula 1 line. The first drop of Puma’s F1 collection, spearheaded by A$AP Rocky, will make its debut at the Las Vegas Grand Prix in late November. The collection showcases a striking fusion of styles, with teaser images revealing A$AP Rocky in a co-branded black tracksuit, sleek racing gloves, and a pair of eye-catching Puma ‘Inhale’ sneakers, in eccentric hues of red, orange, and white.
In 2024, Rocky is set to design a capsule collection for high-profile Formula 1 races and host in-person pop-ups and activations at each of these prestigious events. As this partnership accelerates into the future, A$AP Rocky’s role will expand. By the 2025 Formula 1 season, Puma envisions him having a broader creative influence over the entire Puma-F1 partnership. This will encompass the creation of racewear, fanwear, and other fashion-forward collections, heralding a new era where music, fashion, and motorsports collide.
