The fashion and design industry has jet-setted to Doha for the Qatar Creates, a cultural initiative that supports new young emerging talent.
Amongst the events scheduled by Qatar Creates is the four-day Fashion Trust Arabia Prize 2021 initiative (running from November 2-5), featuring high-end brands and renowned public figures including Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli – who’s on the panel of A-list judges.
In the occasion of Qatar Creates 2021, Maison Valentino launched an exclusive Haute Couture Abaya Collection created by Pierpaolo Piccioli – each evoking the Maison’s coveted Haute Couture creations.
Showcased within a special installation that features the collection, there will be fifteen unique abayas on display that rely on the alchemical process of the Atelier work. Available in vibrant colours, the abayas feature Piccioli’s colour layering aesthetic, voluminous proportions and compositional gestures.
The exclusive abaya collection will be available through private appointments starting until November 5, 2021, at Doha Design District.
