There was plenty to see on Fendi’s Spring/Summer ’19 runway during Milan Fashion Week in September.
Karl Lagerfeld’s brilliant creativity was translated through a contrast of colours, elegant silhouettes and softly-muted monochromatic looks, and it seems that the same aesthetic has been carried through to the brand’s Pre-Fall ’19 collection, too.
For the new season, King Karl created a strong utilitarian vibe with pieces laden with graphic patterns and colour-blocking and styles that were inspired by 19th-century French gates. Plus, it beautifully blends masculine and feminine elements such as mixing lace and silk fabrics with strong motifs and structures.
Along with a new collection for ready-to-wear, Fendi’s Silvia Venturini Fendi created a new version of one of the brand’s iconic handbags, the Baguette style. For Pre-Fall ’19, the new creation is also joined by the Kan B shoulder design.
Can we have every piece, please?
