Regional fashion connoisseurs will already be familiar with Omani label Bthaina‘s gorgeous designs. And if you’re not yet acquainted with the design talent that is Buthaina Anees Al Zadjali, you’ve now got a whole new reason to discover her brand thanks to the launch of its debut footwear collection.
Described by Buthaina as an “extension of the womenswear collection,” this collection is inspired by the brand’s Ivory Ocean collection. Comprised of six styles, each of which is embellished and crafted from silk, the collection is both fashion-forward and functional.

Speaking of the designs in a release, Buthaina explained, “My dream is to create a one-stop destination for fashion lovers so the introduction of shoes is part of my long-term plan for the brand. The core DNA of Bthaina is to fuse impeccable quality and intricate embroidery with luxurious comfort. So with this in mind, I referenced design elements from my Ivory Ocean collection and incorporated them into handcrafted, embellished slides that are comfortable yet elegant.”
The Bthaina footwear collection is now available in the brand’s boutique in Muscat.
