It’s no surprise that this was named as the world’s ‘Hottest Product’

We've been fawning over these 10 products in particular over the past 12 months...

We may be well into the New Year but fashion search platform Lyst is still in review mode. The number-crunching site has looked at some of 2019’s biggest trends, brands and products, and compiled them into its annual fashion report. Now, the site has announced which products were the most popular, earning a spot on Lyst’s top 10 ‘Hottest Products’ of 2019.

1. Gucci GG Logo Belt

The brand’s iconic Gucci GG Logo belt still remains one of the most sought after luxury accessories. “Averaging over 165,000 online monthly searches between October and December”, this is the second time the Gucci GG Logo Belt has topped the list.

2. Amina Muaddi Gilda glitter crystal sandals

A brand new entry to The Lyst Index, Middle Eastern designer (and celebrity favourite) Amina Muaddi’s Gilda heels sparked an average of 60,500 monthly searches between October and December. Her famous following includes Gigi Hadid, Dua Lipa, Katie Holmes and Kendall Jenner.

3. Prada Monolith leather boots

Prada’s latest offering of the Monolith boots has given a new take on the chunky combat boot. It’s been captured on a slew of fashion’s finest from Bella Hadid to Chiara Ferragni and Rosalía.

4. Acne Studios multi check scarf

Acne Studios fringed scarf sparked interest amongst fashion enthusiasts last quarter. The fuchsia/lilac/pink piece is woven in multi-check pattern and detailed with a logo patch.

5. Bottega Veneta The Pouch mini leather clutch

It’s no surprise that Bottega Veneta made the cut. Daniel Lee has brought in a new era of the brand that introduces minimal designs for a maximal effect. Crafted in Italy from calf leather, it hangs from a thin, tonal strap to drape delicately over the shoulder. We’re not-so-secretly obsessed.

6. Spanx faux leather leggings

You can never go wrong with faux leather leggings. And with Spanx, you know you’re going to be getting comfort and style.

7. Balenciaga Hourglass top handle bag

Straight off the runway and into the closets of hundreds of fashion lovers, Balenciaga’s Hourglass top handle bag is a black shiny box calfskin offering that comes sleek, structured and will make a statement.

8. Dr Martens Farylle ribbon lace chunky leather boots

For the first time, Dr. Martens has entered The Lyst Index with its Farylle boots. With searches up 151% this quarter, the brand climbed 12 places in The Lyst Index’s hottest brands ranking.

9. UGG Scuffette II slippers

Playing into the trends for luxury loungewear and ‘90s nostalgia, searches for UGG Scuffette II slippers rose 474% on Lyst.

10. Arket down puffer coat

A new sustainable product has made its entrance in The Lyst Index. Arket’s longline puffer is the perfect way to protect yourself from the cold.

Made of 100% recycled down and feathers, it contributed to a 695% spike in page views for the H&M-owned brand in October.
