Victoria Beckham, the Spice Girls singer-turned-fashion designer, has announced that she has officially entered a long-term global licensing agreement with eyewear company, Marchon.
Together, the partnership will see Marchon and Beckham (who made history earlier this month) release a range of sun and optical eyewear that will encapsulate Beckham’s minimal and refined, yet statement and daring, aesthetic. Plus, the frames will be developed in Italy.
Although Posh Spice (who unfortunately won’t be going on tour with the rest of the girl group next year) has already released sunglasses online previously, the new frames with Marchon are set to be even better.
According to Vision Monday, Paolo Riva, CEO of Victoria Beckham Ltd., said: “Eyewear is synonymous with our founder and this license will allow us to scale our presence in the eyewear retail market and capitalise on Marchon’s technical innovation, expertise in product development and global distribution network, whilst continuing to offer our customers a product that they can feel empowered in, and excited by.”
The debut collection will officially hit the shelves globally from Fall 2019.
