SAINT LAURENT ICARE MAXI SHOPPING BAG

If you’re looking for a one-size-fits-all handbag, Saint Laurent’s new shopping bag is one that reinforces its strong identity. Titled ICARE, its oversized volume – spacious enough for all the usual handbag suspects with room to spare – is crafted entirely from soft lambskin, complete with a flat lozenge quilting and a curved iconic YSL signature, sculpted like a piece of jewellery.

Available in black leather with a matte/shiny finishing, it’s quickly becoming this summer’s new it bag.

FENDACE

One of the biggest collaborations of the year is undoubtedly Fendace, where the Fendi and Versace universes collide to create a collection where print, colour and logoism are fully embraced. A combination of brand codes is present in iconic styles such as Fendi’s Peekaboo and Baguette, and Versace’s La Medusa handbag, and we’re betting it’ll be seen on the arms of many around the world this summer. Already a clear statement, Fendi’s FF logo is met with Versace’s iconic Medusa.

LOEWE PAULA’S IBIZA

Step into a hedonistic vision sparkling with sequins and colour, courtesy of Loewe Paula’s Ibiza collection. Perfect for the summer season, accessories come in playful and colourful vibrancy, including a blown-up version of the Anagram. Complete in ombrè colours recalling the psychedelic sunsets of Ibiza, the Anagram proves that maxi bags are back with a vengeance.

WEEKEND MAX MARA PASTICCINO BAG

Earlier this week, Weekend Max Mara launched the Pasticcino Bag Modella Venezia, the first stop of the bag’s new World Tour that, season after season, will support and celebrate traditional craftmanship all over the world. Interlaced with the city’s awe-inspiring history, artisanship, and uniqueness, the bag is infinitely versatile. Offered in three different sizes and a range of materials, it’s a statement-making accessory that can easily be used from day to night.

The bag will be available from June 2022.

DOLCE & GABBANA SUNRISE

If you’re looking for a more neutral piece of arm candy, Dolce & Gabbana has launched its DG Sunrise Special Collection, where the unmistakable codes of the Italian brand are renewed between timeless beauty and inspirations from the world of nature. Its signature Miss Sicily handbag and the DG Logo bag are embellished with its iconic plaque logo, gold hardware and a coffee hue.
