Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank U, Next’ film clip is the early 2000s movie mash-up of our dreams

I mean we love it already
Ariana Grande has been dropping hints as to what her upcoming film clip for 'Thank U, Next' will look like and we can't even wait...

Ariana Grande is on a post-breakup mission and has been heavily promoting her newest single Thank U, Next across the globe. And in recent days, the singer has also dropped a few *major* hints about the accompanying film clip and honestly we don’t know if we’re going to be able to handle it.

Last night, Ariana posted a photo of herself with Dynasty actress Elizabeth Gillies and the OG Aaron Samuels (more formally know by his real name Jonathan Bennett) along with two other friends decked out as the cast of Mean Girls.

And in case that wasn’t epic enough, the shot was preceded by several snaps of the East Compton Clovers from Bring It On, a doll house that looks suspiciously like the one from Suddenly 30 AND an image of Ariana with Jennifer Coolidge in all her Paulette Bonafonte glory which basically confirms there’ll be a heavy Legally Blonde reference in there also.

Yeah we’re pretty sure we’ll be watching this on repeat when it’s released…

Until then, find out the first headline act for the 2019 Dubai Jazz Festival.
