The last two weeks have been good to Anne Hathaway. First she was confirmed to star in a new adaptation of The Witches as the Grand High Witch and now, she’s just revealed that The Princess Diaries 3 is going to happen.
Hathaway was on Watch What Happens Live on Andy Cohen when a caller phoned in to ask if there is a third movie in the works. She confirmed there is a script and Julie Andrews is on board, too, but for now, it’s a waiting game. “We love it just as much as you guys love it. It’s as important to us as it is to you and we don’t want to deliver anything until it’s ready but we’re working on it,” she said.
So if you weren’t that satisfied with the end of the last movie, you will hopefully get some questions answered in the next one. Are Clarisse and Joseph still together? Did Mia and Nicholas get married? So many plot possibilities…
