Margot Robbie, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron will star in an upcoming movie based on a #MeToo scandal

Guaranteed to be powerful
The #MeToo movement is still going strong, and three of Hollywood's top actresses are set to appear in a film about one scandal in particular...

Separately, Margot Robbie, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron are powerhouse actresses that command any screen on which they appear. Put them together in a film and you’ve got a certified hit on your hands. The three leading ladies are all set to appear in an upcoming film based on the Fox News #MeToo scandal that hit headlines in 2016.

Roger Ailes, the President of Fox News, stepped down in 2016 amid allegations of sexual harassment. It came months before Harvey Weinstein was accused of similar actions, with many attributing the strength of the women who came forward as a critical tipping point to begin the #MeToo movement.

Kidman has signed on to play Gretchen Carlson, the first women who sued Ailes, whilst Theron will play news anchor Meghan Kelly who left the Fox News network after claiming that she was also harassed. It is being reported that Robbie will play a fictional producer, who, according to The Wrap, “is an amalgamation of real-life figures who worked with both Carlson and Kelly behind the scenes.”

Currently, the film is titled Fair and Balanced, in reference to the network’s slogan it used up until 2017. There’s on news on when filming will begin as yet.
