Beauty Pop DXB
Details emerged last month that a new three-day beauty event was set to land on our shores and Beauty Pop DXB will take place on April 19-21.
The beauty extravaganza is set to be one of Dubai’s biggest beauty events of the year, thanks to its list of international stylists, make-up artists and skincare experts who are scheduled to be on site.
A series of masterclasses, panel discussions and talks will be available by some of the industry’s leading names including Jen Atkin, Tracey Cunningham, Nurse Jamie, Justine Marjan, Desi Perkins, Marianna Hewitt and Camila Coelho (who recently closed Ralph & Russo’s Haute Couture show in Paris).

Dubai Fashion Week
Blending fashion, luxury and lifestyle, a three-day event is coming to Dubai and is set to shine the spotlight on emerging designers from Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
Dubai Fashion Week is billed to be the Middle East’s largest fashion event this year and will take place at the Palazzo Versace Hotel, so you know it’ll be completely luxurious.
There will be runway shows at different intervals, plus a trade show, featuring a diverse range of brands and companies.

World Art Dubai
Now in its fourth edition, the World Art Dubai fair returns to the emirate, gathering artists from all over the world to exhibit their works and will showcase a collection of affordably-priced artworks ranging from paintings to prints, sculptures, photographs and more.
Expect to see a bunch of eye-catching artworks, live talks, creative workshops, art exhibitions and the Ripe Design and Craft Market. Plus, there’s a live art installation on site, including three Mini Coopers covered in street art by Saudi graffiti artist Snbl7.

Romeo and Juliet at Dubai Opera
One of the most iconic romance stories is coming to Dubai in the form of a ballet and we just can’t wait for the reveal. The Moscow City Ballet will be returning to Dubai Opera to perform Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare’s most famous play.
With a powerful musical performance from a live orchestra, the experienced ballet dancers will bring the story to life by recreating the bustle of Renaissance Verona on stage.

Backstreet Boys at Blended
Last month, Backstreet Boys sent the region into a nostalgia-fuelled frenzy following the announcement that the ’90s boyband will be returning to Dubai to perform at the Blended Music Festival.
Whilst the five members of the group headline the event, Melanie Chisholm (a.k.a Sporty Spice) is second in line and you can expect her to sing along to a string of solo hits from her post-Spice Girls era including I Turn to You and Never Be the Same Again.
British R&B singer Lemar is also in the line-up.
The Blended Music Festival will take place on April 20, 2018, at the Media City Amphitheatre.
A new culinary experience at Ossiano
Just when we thought Ossiano in Atlantis, The Palm, couldn’t get any better, they’ve given us another reason to fall in love with the floor-to-ceiling aquarium view restaurant.
Chef de Cuisine Grégoire Berger and two-time Michelin-starred chef Ronan Kervarrec have come together and joined forces to create a new gastronomy experience.
Certain to delight your palates, the culinary experience will feature a nine-course menu that brings together the flavours of the chef’s hometown of Brittany, France.
Upon arrival, guests can expect to be greeted with Ossiano canapés before tasting the delights of oysters with kiwi tartare, dulse meringue, chervil sorbet and sea foam. The Chefs will serve Brittany king crab with puys lentils, crab jus perfumed with curry and coral, light coconut cream, followed by hake on sea lettuce with clams and asparagus.
