Undoubtedly, one of the most notable artists to date is Pablo Picasso and now, works by the renowned Spanish artist are exclusively going on show in the Middle East.
Taking place for the first time at the Sursock Museum in Beirut, Lebanon, the exhibition will see a collective of works (20, to be exact) by the late painter.
The exhibition, dubbed Picasso and the Family, is a collaboration between the Beirut-based museum and Musée National Picasso-Paris, and is part of a cultural initiative that will see a program of exhibitions scattered across capitals in the Middle East.
What can you expect to see on display? At the exhibition, there’ll be a selection of works dated from 1895 to 1972, ranging from drawing and paintings to etchings and sculptures. Also, the works will include Picasso’s infamous beginnings in realism and his exploration of cubism.
The Picasso and the Family exhibition is now open to the public and will run until January 6, 2020.
