It’s true. The power of a celebrity’s influence is strong. So strong in fact, that just about every week, they’re able to launch a brand faster than you can click your fingers. And whilst, yes, we look forward to learning about some of our favourite celeb’s beauty secrets, some of the launches lack authenticity and originality.
However, Tracee Ellis Ross just stepped into the beauty sphere and already, she’s changing the game.
Overnight, the American actress introduced her very own beauty brand, titled Pattern.
The focus of Pattern is set to be on hair care products and the range has been crafted “specifically for curly, coily and tight textured hair” — moving the natural hair movement forward.
Announcing the news via Instagram, Ross posted a campaign image with a caption that reads: “Pattern Beauty is the result of 20 years of dreaming, 10 years in the making (I wrote my first brand pitch in 2008, right when girlfriends finished) and 2 years of working with chemists. I’m so excited to share this with y’all. Pattern Beauty is here to empower and nourish curly, coily and tight-textured hair. 3b to 4c. The formulas are unique and packed with luscious & safe ingredients-trust me I know, because my panel and I tried 74 different samples to get these 7 formulas for phase one.”
I think it’s time to clear out our beauty cabinets…
