Ever since Hedi Slimane joined Celine (then, Céline) as its new Artistic, Creative and Image Director, in 2018, he has implemented a slew of changes to the maison. The changes included a new logo, a revamped e-commerce platform, a focus on menswear and even, a new boutique concept — which was also rolled out at the Celine boutique in The Dubai Mall.
Now, it looks like Slimane is set to explore Celine’s fragrance department as he just teased a perfume project on Instagram.
The French fashion house posted an image of a sculptural metallic mold (broken into three different parts), with a caption that reads: “La Collection Celine Haute Parfumerie. Celine Haute Parfumerie Collection Debut.”
The new Haute Parfumerie Collection will mark eight years since Celine last introduced a perfume. It was under Interparfums, who held the brand’s fragrance license between 2000 and 2011, and since then, they’ve been taken back in-house by the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned label — with no fragrance launches since.
We can’t wait to see what these scents smell like…
