Being a one-hit wonder is a thing of the past. To be a successful brand, you’ve got to constantly think outside the box for new ideas and innovations to keep up and to be on everyone’s radar 24/7. Cult beauty brand Glossier, despite enjoying enormous success, is no exception.
The millennial-loving brand, launched in 2014 by Emily Weiss, serves up the best makeup and skincare products in the biz right now – including this must-have mascara. So, we were super intrigued when the brand dropped a somewhat cryptic but nonetheless exciting Instagram post.
Does this mean Glossier is expanding to music, podcasting, playlisting? *Music to our ears* Sorry, we had to…Maybe yes? Maybe no?
Well, we don’t know much beyond the fact that Glossier Play has its own IG account, so it’s clear this is a new and separate venture – “two years in the making” as well…
Go onto Glossier Play’s account and all you’ll get is a gold glitter photo that serves as its Instagram avatar. Head to Glossier’s website, and you’ll see a spinning pink glitter ‘G’ in the Glossier Play section. We guess you’ll have to sign up and wait for March 2019, which is like, basically, tomorrow.
Whatever it is, we’re forever the brand’s cheerleaders for all the pigmented goodness it gives us.
