After three years of hoping we would one day get our very own Charlotte Tilbury store, the celebrity makeup artist opened her first store in the Middle East in Kuwait last year, then another in Qatar and announced her plans to open doors in Dubai in 2018.
Now, that wait has finally ended with the mogul officially opening the doors to her beauty wonderland in The Dubai Mall today (with lines out the door for most of the morning).
Located in between Sephora and the aquarium, the expansive 1,688 square foot space is a haven for beauty lovers and houses every single product in the celebrity makeup artist’s range. It is also home to Charlotte’s legendary Magic Mirror that allows customers to digitally try on the 10 key looks created by Charlotte for every woman.
Once you’ve made your way past her extensive lipstick display, skincare bar and superstar wall (where you can access exclusive content and tutorials) you’ll find yourself in the Beauty Boudoir where you can get a complimentary 15-minute touch-up from one of the brand’s pro artists, or book a full Tilbury consultation and makeover.
Speaking of the opening in a release Tilbury said, “I have always loved the Middle East and Dubai, Arab women understand the power of makeup more than anyone else. They share my passion for the best! I have waited for this moment for so long because it was so important to me to create an incredible Beauty Wonderland here in Dubai that would make everyone’s beauty dreams come true.”
Don’t expect to make a quick trip in and out of the store — it’s called a wonderland for a reason. Credit cards, be warned.
