Earlier this week, the 65th Grammy Awards took place and whilst it was a celebration of music, it was the celebrity makeup looks that caught our attention.
In particular, Megan Fox wowed us with her diamond-studded 14-carat white gold manicure – with each nail studded with diamonds. She wore a white sleeveless dress by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad. The gorgeous ensemble was complete with gold appliqués on the bodice that complemented her expensive talons.
Brittany Boyce worked with Jillian Sassone, founder of Marrow Fine Jewellery, to design the white gold nails. Fox’s natural nails were perfectly fitted with Aprés Nail Gel-X extensions and filed and shaped by Boyce, while Sassone made custom shapes from 3D-scanned stiletto nail tips and filled them with 14-carat white gold. A cross-shaped arrangement of 15 white diamonds was then bonded to each tip after the white gold stiletto tips were set.
In total, 150 white diamonds and an unspecified amount of 14-carat white gold were used to create these cut tips. Take a closer look below at those silver claws…
