In a spectacular celebration of creativity and style, Maison Messika marked its 10-year anniversary in the world of High Jewelry with a breathtaking show during Paris Fashion Week. The glittering guest list included the crème de la crème of the fashion and entertainment worlds with famous faces like Cher, Ester Expósito, Carla Bruni, Ashley Graham, Taraji P. Henson, Nicola Coughlan, Kelly Rowland, Ed Westwick, Amy Jackson, Joy Crookes, Sara Sampaio, Damson Idris, and many more, that joined Valérie Messika in celebrating the milestone.
The special presentation marked the launch of Messika’s new High Jewelry collection, ‘Midnight Sun,’ inspired by the decadence and audacious spirit of iconic 70s nightspots like Studio 54, the Palace, and Chez Régine. Valérie Messika unveiled 140 magnificent creations fixed with stunning yellow diamonds, snow-setting, magnetic wear, delicate pearls, and gorgeous color contrasts. These pieces showcased the unparalleled craftsmanship honed in Messika’s Parisian ateliers.
In a nod to the ultimate party spirit of the era, Valérie Messika drew inspiration from two iconic 70s figures, Liza Minnelli and Diana Ross. She created contrasting duos of exquisite colored diamonds, resulting in a remarkable necklace adorned with a 20.04-carat pear-cut yellow diamond and a 9.07-carat cushion-cut diamond. The necklace was accompanied by a diamond bracelet and matching diamond ring. A diamond choker, affixed with an astonishing 18.05-carat yellow solitaire, was also showcased as a part of the collection.
The highlight of the show came in the form of a breathtaking yellow diamond, the ‘Solar Diva,’ weighing nearly 35 carats – one of the largest stones ever set by the Maison.
The exquisite jewels were complemented by a collection of outfits specially designed for the occasion by Nix Lecourt Mansion. Garnished with diamonds, some of the garments were co-created with Valérie Messika. Stylist Héléna Tejedor worked in tandem with the Artistic Director to craft 30 bold and mesmerizing silhouettes, each designed to accentuate the collection.
Carla Bruni–the face of the ‘Midnight Sun’ collection–closed the runway show alongside models Taylor Hill, Grace Elisabeth, Alton Mason, and Adut Akech. Ashley Graham hosted the live social media broadcast, sharing Messika’s precious moments with a global audience connected via their screens.
The electrifying evening continued with a performance by Ava Max, leaving attendees spellbound by the fusion of music, art, fashion, and jewelry.
