Van Cleef & Arpels have mastered the art of reflecting its heritage in its newer collections and the launch of four new Ludo bracelets proves just that.
First introduced in 1934 (it was baptized with the nickname of Louis — the youngest of the Arpels brothers), the original design boasts the characteristics of a precious belt buckle, complete with an articulated gold ribbon that is distinguished by embellished brick or hexagon motifs.
Now, the four new versions of the Ludo bracelet have an injection of its couture inspiration as they marry rich materials with gold colours to intensify its emblematic briquette and hexagon motifs.
Courtesy of the maison’s craftsmanship, the pieces come studded with dazzling details — each refined and rounded with a graphic interplay of lines. Plus, the pieces come adorned with grain-set ruby, sapphire or diamond, proving the ultimate piece of wrist candy.
