It’s been decades since Princess Diana‘s tragic passing, and we’re still obsessed with the beloved royal, ’till this day.
So, you can imagine our excitement when we found out that a stage musical about the life of the late Princess of Wales is set to hit Broadway next year.
The musical spectacle, titled Diana, billed itself as the story of the woman who “rocked the Royals” and “chose to be fearless, and as a result became timeless”, and here’s what else we know about the musical so far.
Diana will be set in 1981, and will follow the Princess’ life as she transitions into the royal family, as well as during her marriage to Prince Charles. It will also delve into details including their separation, Princes Charles’ affair with Camilla, and Diana’s relationship with the press.
Diana is set to make its debut on Broadway on March 2, 2020. Also, there’s an opening date is set for March 31, at New York’s Longacre Theatre.
