Angelina Jolie has had a stellar career to date. She’s literally played every role under the sun and has proven her acting chops with each new venture.
And right now, her plate is piling up. Maleficent 2 is coming out in October 2019, and she’s starring in upcoming thriller, Those Who Wish Me Dead. Not to mention, she’s got her brood to take care of too. Oh, and if she wasn’t the most empowering woman in the world already, she’s always on the move with her commitments as a UN special envoy for refugees. Woosh.
Adding to her burgeoning projects,The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the Oscar-winning actress is in talks to star in Marvel Studios’ The Eternals, a superhero team adventure feature being directed by Chloé Zhao – which will be her first foray into the superhero arena. And naturally, she is going to excel at it.
The Eternals is based on the comic and is about a species of cosmic humanity, that were created five million years ago, living on earth and shaping its history and civilisations. *Very* gripping stuff.
We don’t know what Jolie’s role will be at the moment but the whole setup has ‘blockbuster’ written all over it.
Yep, we officially cannot wait for this gem to land.
