The 2018 Tony Awards did not disappoint.
Taking place overnight, the ceremony, co-hosted by Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles, recognised and celebrated the achievements of stars within the musical industry.
Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles, who co-hosted the awards show, kicked things off with a piano duet
However, before the ceremony took place, Hollywood heavyweights and Broadway’s biggest stars walked the red carpet in an array of beautiful ensembles. Tina Fey wore a metallic frock by Thom Browne, Kerry Washington rocked an Atelier Versace number, Claire Danes chose Valentino, Bee Shaffer wore Alexander McQueen, Lauren Ambrose opted for Oscar de la Renta and Tiffany Haddish shone in Michael Kors Collection, arriving alongside the designer himself.

Once everyone was inside, it was time to reveal this year’s winners (but not before the crowd was treated to a piano duet by Groban and Bareilles). Those who took home trophies included Andrew Garfield (who took home best performance by an actor in a leading role in a play), Tony Shalhoub (who won best performance by an actor in a leading role in a musical) and Katrina Lenk (for the best performance by an actress in a leading role in a musical).
