Among all of the Parisian fashion houses across the world, Dior is one of the most famed. Over the years since its establishment in 1946, many designers have come into the maison to strengthen the collections season after season.
For almost 30 years, Marc Bohan held the reigns at the French fashion house and his vision for the brand transformed its offerings to include those strong feminine cuts we’ve all fallen in love with.
In a series of books that cater to each designer of the maison, the latest edition Dior by Marc Bohan, gives us some insight into some of his most memorable moments and mesmerising creations (like the Slim Line collection in Spring 1961 and the Year of India collection for Spring 1989).
The book also features original photography by Laziz Hamani whilst fashion journalist, Jérôme Hanover provides insight into Bohan’s inspirations and influences throughout his years designing for the house of Dior.
