Whilst we’re strong advocates for the benefits of a digital detox when you’re on holiday with your out of office firmly on, we know that Instagram plays a huge part in our daily lives and that vacations are prime ‘gramming time. So, if you enjoy uploading a story (or 20) whilst laying on a beach, the world’s most Instagrammable hotel has just been revealed.
Unsurprisingly, it’s located in the Maldives.
Luxury Travel Advisor, a top travel and tourism publication, held a vote to discover who should be crowned this year’s winner. After counting the 121,000 votes, the Anantara Kihavah came out on top with 45, 385 votes to its name.
One look at the property and it’s not hard to see why it won. Surrounded by crystal clear water and white sand beaches, the idyllic property is home to 80 villas in total and also has an underwater restaurant.
Oh, and did we mention it just opened an over-water observatory, the first of its kind in the Maldives? Here you can stargaze with the hotel’s in-house astrologist whilst taking in the country’s famously beautiful evening weather.
