Thanks to the Royal Wedding, this is now the most popular attraction spot in the UK

Time to book your tickets...
Windsor Castle took home the number one spot for most popular attraction in the UK this summer. Here's why...

Earlier this year, millions of people from around the globe tuned in to watch the fairytale wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry which took place at Windsor Castle and the influence from the momentous occasion is still going strong, even today.

Not only can you feel like the Duchess of Sussex on her wedding day by getting your hands on her Stella McCartney wedding dress, or look as good as Prince Harry in his personal Audi, but you can relive the May 19 wedding celebrations by booking a tour of Windsor Castle.

And it seems that this summer, a lot of people have jet-setted to the UK for that particular reason.

According to Isango!an online retailer of global tours, data has proved that since the wedding, Windsor Castle’s bookings have increased by 92 per cent and it was named as the UK’s leading attraction during the summer holidays.

It’s so popular that Windsor Castle has surpassed London’s ‘Hop On, Hop Off’ bus tour and the Tower of London for the number one spot and was also followed by attractions such as Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland and a cruise along the River Thames.
