All aboard: The Ritz-Carlton opens reservations for its custom yacht

Summer plans for 2020, sorted
Fancy spending a week cruising in a luxury yacht? The Ritz-Carlton thought you might...

When the idea of summer holidays comes to mind, more often than not there’s crystal clear blue waters and sunshine involved, with a luxury boat thrown in for good measure. Now, spending your summer months cruising is set to reach new luxury heights thank to The Ritz-Carlton

The luxury hotel chain has just opened reservations for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, due to hit seas in February 20, marking the first time a luxury hotel will bring its service to the seas. There are currently three voyages available to book: one to the Caribbean (where stops will include Barbados and Cartegena), one to the Mediterranean (stopping in Mykonos and Portofino amongst other destinations) and one to Northern Europe (with stops at Copenhagen and Bordeaux). Each trip will last between seven and 10 days and accommodate only 293 passengers to ensure an intimate, luxury experience for all guests on board.

The yacht itself is 190 metres in length, with 149 suites available, each of which comes with its own private terrace, as well as a Michelin-star chef restaurant and a spa.
