Currently cooped up at home? The global pandemic has made the normal things feel odd; the excessive noise is now eerily silent and our 4pm conversations with colleagues have turned into virtual zoom hangouts. The only thing (other than food, obviously) that has come to our salvation are podcasts.
But, where do we start?
With so many podcasts available, we’ve found an uplifting series that will act as the very best audio odysseys to fill your ears.
Porter has launched a new podcast series, titled Pieces of Me: My Life in Seven Garments. The series features a selection of incredible women that will each tell their stories through the clothing they wore at defining moments of their lives.
Pieces of Me will feature inspirational women including Tracee Ellis Ross, Roksanda Ilinčić, Zainab Salbi, Sam Taylor-Johnson, Sinéad Burke, Arianne Phillips and Halima Aden, and “reminds us that clothes are never just clothes and that the meanings woven through them — about beauty, power, identity, freedom and fashion as a force for change — are the stories of women’s lives”, according to a statement.
