Partnering with industry leaders and those looking to disrupt a certain space with new and innovative ideas is a key part of Arab Luxury World‘s agenda. And this year, the Dubai-based conference is looking to expand its horizons with the inclusion of a Global Start-Up Bootcamp to be held across the two-day event.
Pre-selection competitions are underway across Europe, with London hosting the first round. During the five-hour long competition, a total of 26 startups pitched their business models to an esteemed jury that included Feelunique.com’s Founder Aaron Chatteley, Matthew Drinkwater, the Head of Fashion Innovation Agency at London College of Fashion and London-based accelerator Founders Factory’s Business Development Lead Laura Delgado among others. The next stop is Paris, after which 20 of the startups will be selected to attend the bootcamp in Dubai before having the opportunity to pitch their businesses to the leading names and minds in retail and luxury in the Middle East.
The 20 finalists will be revealed once the competition in Paris is complete. Watch this space!
