Nike are channelling diversity with a brand new display

Well, this is great news...
Leave it to Nike to champion diversity as they introduce plus-size and para-sport mannequins in stores...

Nike is no stranger to promoting diversity and inclusivity — all whilst offering the best performance attire, too. They’ve done it with the launch of the Nike Pro Hijab and now, they’re doing it again with their new in-store displays.

The brand opened their new and improved London flagship store on Oxford Street, and they made sure to make a statement with their opening.

With a special floor dedicated to women, the sportswear giant has taken a giant leap forward in the form of fashion and added a slew of “full range of athlete figures”, a.k.a plus-size and para-sport mannequins.

According to CNN, Nike released a statement that said: “To celebrate the diversity and inclusivity of sport, the space will not just celebrate local elite and grassroot athletes through visual content, but also show Nike plus size and para-sport mannequins for the first time on a retail space.”

We’re hoping others will follow suit.
