There’s no doubt that the UAE is a thriving place for businesses and business professionals alike, and if there’s one woman currently in the sphere making an impact in the UAE (one pioneering venture at a time), it’s Sheikha Al Mheiri.
An entrepreneur, venture capitalist, investor, board member and business advisor, Sheikha’s extremely impressive resume has led her to paving the way for so many women in the GCC and the Arab world. With an education that sees her with an Executive MBA from the London Business School, a diploma in Policy design and Delivery from Harvard Kennedy School, she’s been an absolute force in all her enterprises such as the family business she runs (which focuses on establishing governance structures and wealth preservation models), as well as being a specialised advisory in the government, semi- government and family business sectors.
Known for navigating and challenging the regulatory, political and business ecosystems of the UAE, we sat down with Sheikha to discuss her career path from employee to entrepreneur, the elements that go into creating the ultimate brand experience, the future of entrepreneurship and how technology will play a part in it as she continues to invest in cutting-edge infrastructure technologies.
