Whilst the Louvre Abu Dhabi is getting ready to host a slew of exciting art exhibitions, it looks like the museum will also welcome a brand new culinary offering that we just can’t wait to try.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi have officially entered a partnership with French hospitality company Barrière Group to launch the first Abu Dhabi-based branch of the company’s well-known brasserie-style restaurant, Fouquet’s.
Set to open in 2020, Fouquet’s new menu will be created in collaboration with Michelin star chef Pierre Gagnaire (he’s also head chef and owner of the eponymous Pierre Gagnaire restaurant), and will include a number of Fouquet’s signature dishes as well as those reflecting the local culture and the tastes of an international clientele.
Speaking of the newest addition to the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum, Director of Louvre Abu Dhabi Manuel Rabaté, said: “Abu Dhabi is known for its collaborations with some of the world’s premier brands and this prestigious new partnership with Barrière Group is yet another fine example. With the opening of Fouquet’s at Louvre Abu Dhabi next year, the museum continues to bring unique and exceptional experiences to Saadiyat Island. This partnership reflects both the museum’s as well as Abu Dhabi’s commitment to excellence, and demonstrates the impact of our brand through the quality of partners who collaborate with us.”
