This year, IWC is celebrating its 150 year anniversary and to celebrate the brand has gone all out at this year’s SIHH. From a glittering gala dinner with the likes of Bradley Cooper, Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova and Cate Blanchett in attendance to the launch of a special Jubilee collection, the brand has been the talk of the exhibition.
The Jubilee collection features 28 new pieces, each of which is limited between 15 and 2,000 pieces depending on the model. One of the most interesting pieces in the collection is the IWC Tribute to Pallweber. Its calibre was five years in the making and the design has three patents pending. It also features jumping dials that add an element of modernity to the vintage-inspired piece.
The brand has also created new models in its Portugieser, Portofino and Pilot lines, all of which are engraved with the 150-year anniversary date.
