We’ve already seen the launch of several capsule collections exclusively crafted for Ramadan — think from Bvlgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, CH Carolina Herrera and Loro Piana — but Cartier are looking further into the spirit of giving and have decided to extend a helping hand to a Middle Eastern fund that assists the region’s most vulnerable in the fight against COVID-19.
With no better time than now to help those in need, Cartier (no stranger to philanthropic initiatives) have pledged to donate to the Emirates Red Crescent’s ‘The Homeland of Humanity’ fund — an organisation that was set up in coordination with the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, the Emirates Red Crescent and other humanitarian and charity organizations and societies in the country.
Together, the main objective (other than to send a message of solidarity) if to support the region’s efforts to bring the coronavirus under control.
“As a Maison, we feel strongly about expressing our gratitude to the people of the region; and what a better time to do so than the month of giving, the holy month of Ramadan,” says Christophe Massoni, Chief Executive Officer of Cartier in the Middle East, India and Africa. “More than ever, Cartier remains committed to supporting the less fortunate, those affected and the people caring for them during this difficult and unprecedented time. We truly look forward to celebrating the month of Ramadan with a spirit sharing and togetherness, which are dear to Cartier’s heart.”
