Breitling reimagines its classic SuperOcean timepiece

The brand's new Pastel Paradise capsule collection brings out all the colours you'll want to front this summer...

Breitling just introduced its latest creations for women offering a fresh new take on a classic timepiece. The SuperOcean Heritage ’57 timepiece started off in the ’50s as a divers’ watch and it turned into a spectacular piece of arm candy – one that is all about colour, proportion, and of course substance.

Embodying the very essence of summer style, the timepieces in the new Pastel Paradise capsule collection are a retro twist on the classic, complete with a 38-mm stainless-steel case, a rotating bezel and bold indices. 

Available in summer white, aquamarine, mint green, and iced latte – all with tone-on-tone dials, bezels, and straps – the collection is accompanied by a rainbow tangerine version (the real show-stopper). Made with hour markers and hands coated in Super-LumiNova®, it sings in hues of yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, red, and orange.

There’s also an opportunity to customise your timepiece with a colour combination unique to you. The quick-exchange system allows you to swap out the luxe Saffiano calfskin leather straps for a lemon and raspberry sorbet hue.

“This modern-retro tribute to the original SuperOcean is an exciting addition to the Breitling family of ladies’ watches. Of course it’ll look great at work, but its fun-in-the-sun vibe might make you want to spend a weekend at the beach,” says Breitling CEO Georges Kern, noting how the highly-coveted original was a nod to the rising popularity of seaside leisure in the 1950s and 1960s.

This season, the colourful SuperOcean Heritage ’57 Pastel Paradise capsule collection has teamed up with DREST, the world’s first interactive luxury fashion mobile game. The third team Breitling has partnered with DREST on a mood board challenge, you’ll be able to seamlessly shop the Breitling pieces they have played and competed with in the game – creating a fun and interactive modern-day shopping experience.
