Today, the Middle East is celebrating our brothers and sisters in Saudi Arabia for the 89th Saudi National Day. And whilst there are a slew of firework displays and activities taking place across the UAE, it looks like Swiss luxury watchmaker, Breitling, have released a dedicated timepiece to mark the occasion.
Recently, Breitling have announced a partnership with Etihad Airways — the national airline of the United Arab Emirates — and has become their official timekeeper. To further strengthen its relationship with the region (more specifically the Kingdom), the Aviator 8 limited edition watch was released in line with Saudi National Day, and it’s a piece of artwork.
Prominently displaying the day of the week, the date and the time, the timepiece is powered by the Breitling Calibre 45 and comes complete in a stunning black dial.
In addition to the anti-reflective sapphire glass, the timepiece features Arabic numerals in a striking gold colour, adorned with matching gold hands. The Aviator 8 Limited Edition is a COSC-certified chronometer and produced in a series limited to 500 pieces.
