Just in: Riccardo Tisci reveals new logo and monogram for Burberry

Another update from the designer ahead of his debut show...
We're just one month away from witnessing Riccardo Tisci make his debut for Burberry, and he has just revealed a new logo for the brand...

Since Riccardo Tisci’s appointment at Burberry was announced exactly five months ago, the ex-Givenchy designer has been teasing the world and making headlines with snippets of what to expect from his new post at the British brand.

First, Tisci revealed that he would be teaming up with Vivienne Westwood for his first collaboration for the brand and that the exclusive capsule collection will feature re-imagined iconic pieces

Then, it was revealed that the designer was also making changes to the brand’s retail strategy by retaining its “see now, buy now” approach, but increasing the number of drops in store.

Now, with just one more month to go until Tisci’s first runway show for the brand during London Fashion Week, the designer revealed another new update for the brand.

Unveiling the news via Instagram, Tisci announced a new logo and a new Thomas Burberry monogram that was designed in collaboration with Peter Saville (the British art director and graphic designer was also responsible for re-designing Calvin Klein’s logo with Raf Simons).

According to WWD, we can expect to see the logo and monogram print “across all of Burberry’s channels and in a new advertising campaign.”
